The Department of Justice (DOJ) published a final rule updating the regulations for Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). All web content publicly available from state and local governments will have to meet web accessibility guidelines by April 24, 2026. That includes mapping applications, surveys, and .pdfs! This webinar will focus on the approach the state GIS community is using to tackle this requirement and pass along resources that are helpful for state government, local government, and contractors.
