OpenStreetMap is known as the Wikipedia of maps. In this workshop we're going to run through the basics of OpenStreetMap and why you should probably be paying attention to this database. We're also going to map some of Montgomery Bell and your hometown. We'll also walk through how you can download this data to help you in your day to day activities. Participants will need a sense of humor, a laptop, a pen, and some paper (preferably a clipboard because weather permitting we may go outside). QGIS/Arcmap are a bonus piece of software you don't need but could come in handy. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you may even have fun. Help OSM become the best map it can be.
